Hey, I missed many reunions, then I regeted it. Once I was expecting and the other times I just couldn't leave my children with a sitter. I've seen many friends from just passing and it certainly brings back memories. being in school I was shy and afraid to get in trouble. I missed alot being secure, until I went into the United States Navy. Traveling really opens your eyes. Iv'e came back to Matamoras and now I'm in Shohola,Pa to stay. I was checking the "Lost" section to see if I could help track anyone down only to find myself listed. It's a little like reading your own obituary! Anyway, I am not lost, been on the email list from the beginning even, I'm just a bit of a procrastinator on the RSVP. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone. I came across a lot of old DVHS stuff cleaning out my father's basement this past summer including some copies of the Deltonian and even the Middellus (for those with good memories) and hope to bring those along for some laughs. | I have some informants from the class of 77 and 78 who clued me in about your Web Site and reunion. Although not a graduate of the class,checking out the site was definitely a reflective experience, particularly after teaching 33 years. DV has changed dramatically. The class sizes are huge,unlike the 70's when everyone knew each other. I prefer the old DV. Retired now and enjoying every minute.Often find myself reflecting back on the beginning years of my career, coaching soccer and girls softball with the class of 77 and 78. | |||||||||
